Calculated Lists (Legacy)

Calculated list allows you to apply further sorting and filtering to lists inside the application. These are then stored as 'calculated lists' which can be used within the application or in document templates.

Example: I have a list of customers on work type. I want to have a pre-filtered list of those customers that only shows those customers who have an email address, or I have a list of experts on a legal matter, and I want a pre-filtered list of only those experts who are cardiologists.

Creating a Calculated List

Calculated lists are created within the data composer modeller tool.

For ODS entities e.g. organisations, people etc., go to Modeller > Party Types > ODS Data Composer to access the data composer.

For work types e.g. legal matter, go to Modeller > Work Types > {Your WorkType} > Data Composer to access the data composer.

You are able to add a calculated list anywhere that there is an existing list in the system. For example, on a work type, any participant roles that can have multiple entries will have a list of the participants associated with it. lists will always have the ability to filter/resolve the list at the top. The most frequently available is to resolve by the index number of the item in the list.
