Overview

We’re pleased to announce the next patch release of sharedo – version 7.1.2 – is in general availability as of this morning, 6th September 2022.

This release is a minor increment on the 7.1.0 release in August with several enhancements and defect fixes. The most notable enhancement in 7.1.2 is with regard to addressing the deprecation notice from Microsoft with regards to office 365 email no longer supporting the basic auth approach from October this year. The 7.1.2 patch release addresses this, switching to the new modern auth mechanic.

As such, any tenants presently leveraging Office 365 for inbound email in sharedo should consider upgrading to 7.1.2 at your earliest convenience in order to be ready for Microsoft's switch off in mid October.

Enhancement highlights.

• Switch from basic to modern auth for Office 365 inbound email handling
• Search scopes - extension to work item searching to allow searching by locations of participants
• Work item merge - new provider to merge notifications
• New data composer dev/debug tools
• Document assembly - removed the mandatory requirement that a prepare document required a participant with an address - to accommodate document delivery via electronic means without a postal address.
