When a participant is added to a work type, a set of menu options are available for the participants. Actions allow you to edit, reassign the participant. Activities shows a list of the activities you may wish to engage in with a participant.For example you may wish to send and SMS to a customer or schedule an appointment with a supplier.

Access this global feature at Launchpad > Admin > Features > Manage Global Features. Search for participant
Work-type Configuration
The work type configuration allows you to specify which task types will be available in the participant activities menu. Clicking into any enabled work type enable you to specified on which parent work types the menu option will be applied, what the icon is that will be used and the title that will be shown.
