Competencies

Use this feature to configure the Competency Types available to user profiles in the system. For more information on using Competencies in ShareDo, see the article Defining Competencies.

You can find the Competencies Global Feature at Launchpad > Modeller >Global features > People, Orgs, and places > Competencies or through the Admin page.

Configure competency types

Permissions control the ability to edit or read competencies. When competencies are enabled on your platform, only users assigned to the ACL System Administrators permission set will be able to access them. To enable editing competencies for other users, you can assign the following permissions to them via a permission set.

  • ODS - Competencies - Edit: Can edit or assign competencies assigned to ODS Entities.
  • ODS - Competencies - Read: Can read competencies assigned to ODS Entities.

Use the + Add Type button to create a new type, or edit an existing type by clicking the > icon next to it.
