We're pleased to announce that ShareDo's next patch release, version 7.8.4, is in general availability as of the 20th of March 2025.
This release builds on version 7.8.2 and centres on resolving issues and enhancing usability. It comprises 30 addressed issues.
This release includes two fixes that affected a small number of client configurations, that were packaged together as patch v7.8.3. While there are no release notes for v7.8.3, the two fixes are detailed in the list below. We advise against upgrading to v7.8.3, and instead recommend upgrading directly to the latest release, v7.8.4.

Known Issues
Occasionally, between releases, issues are discovered and recorded to be rectified in a future release. Often, we create a workaround for these issues that can be used until the fix is made available. This section outlines these known issues.
All known issues listed in the patch release v7.8.1 to v7.8.3 have been resolved in this release.
Chart of Accounts Configuration
If you plan to update your Chart of Accounts configuration in a 7.8.x release, please ensure you run the Chart of Accounts Special Character Converter assistant job in Modeller before importing your new configuration.
