The Legal Forms template type is added to the document templates when the Global Feature and Linked Service are configured, as documented in the article Configure the Legal Forms Global Feature and Linked Service for FormEvo integration.
The Legal Forms template types must be configured before end-users can use FormEvo forms populated with ShareDo data. Use this article to learn what details you need to use to configure these templates.
See the article Understanding document template types and others in the ShareDo help category Document Template Admin for more information on the Document Assembly Global Feature and default configuration of Legal Forms.
Link your ShareDo and FormEvo accounts
You, the document administrator, must link your account with an account in FormEvo once the FormEvo integration is set up. You will know if your account is not linked when you try adding a legal form to the Legal Forms Document Templates list.

If your account is assigned to a team that was granted access to the linked service, you will see the Legal form integration with the FormEvo service.

Click Configure to link your account to FormEvo. If you don't have a FormEvo account, you must set one up in FormEvo. If you have a FormEvo account, enter your Client ID and Secret in the space provided and click Link FormEvo to link your ShareDo account with your FormEvo account.

The Link User Manually section will only be available if the system administrator allows it when configuring the Legal Forms Global Feature and Linked Service for FormEvo integration.
The system can take a few seconds to communicate with FormEvo and might report that the user does not exist in FormEvo. If you get that message, wait a few seconds and click the link button again.
The linked service will show as green when the account is successfully linked.

Legal Form Templates
Document Administrators must configure document templates for legal forms from the FormEvo library before they can be used in ShareDo. This process adds forms from the FormEvo library and allows you to map fields in the legal form with ShareDo data.

Click New on the top right of the Legal Forms Document Template menu. The Search for legal form blade opens. Search for a specific form or click the search icon to list all available forms.

Standard document template configuration applies, as shown in the article Creating a Template. Legal Form specific configuration is listed here.
To be able to save the template and finish setting it up, you must pick a data context for this form and enter any mandatory data. A red exclamation icon indicates mandatory or missing data, as in the image below. In this case, the DMS - Default Folder needed to be selected.

The Form Configuration new nav bar appears when you save the Legal Form Template.
Form Configuration
Click on the Form Configuration bar to open a blade where you map the FormEvo legal form fields to fields in ShareDo. Mapping these fields will populate the form in FormEvo for the user who generates the legal form in ShareDo. For more information on document tagging, see the article Document Template - Tag Browser.

The drop-down box on each mapping row allows you to select whether the form field is mapped to a Data Composer value or Text that you enter.
The icons to the right of the drop-down allow you to either removethe mapping or choose
the relevant value from Data Composer.
Using a FormEvo template in a Visual Workflow Prepare Document step
As Legal Form Templates are considered Forms in ShareDo, they are not listed as a choice when selecting a document template in the Workflow Prepare Document step. To use a Legal Form template, you must first pass in the FormEvo template system name, either by typing it manually into the field or as a variable. Then, you must change the type to reflect the Legal Form work type in line with your configuration (core type is 'Prepare Document - Electronic Form').
