How do I open documents in the Word app rather than Word Online by default?

By default, when you open documents in ShareDo, they open in Microsoft Word Online. You can change this so that documents open in the Word desktop application instead.

To change the default, an administrator must do the following:

  1. Navigate to Launchpad > Admin > System Config > System Settings.
  2. In the Repository settings, search for repository.matter-documents.type.features.
  3. Under the Actions menu, select Edit.
  4. Remove OpenNatively, from the list in the Value field. 
  5. Save and Close the blades and recycle the cache to finish.

Now, when users open documents within ShareDo, they will open in the desktop Word app and not in Word Online.
