O365 Integration: Quick Start

This section provides a simplified overview of required setup O365 and sharedo to be used together. A step by step detailed guide is provided in later sections;

Authentication of users

  • Setup an app registration in O365/Azure active directory for sharedo
  • Configure O365 authentication in sharedo using the client ID generated in the previous step.
  • Add O365 users to sharedo

Document management

  • Setup a service account user in O365/Azure active directory that sharedo can use to connect to sharepoint and interrogate documents.
  • Setup site collections for current and future years
  • Configure repositories in sharedo to use sharepoint online.

Sending emails from sharedo

  • Choose an outbound email mechanism (SMTP / Graph API)
