Contract and Statement of Work Management

What are Contracts?

Contracts provide the top-level work container. All cases and tasks have a contract as the top-level ancestor. Contracts allow you to group related work together over a time period.

What are Statements of Work?

Statements of work (SoW) are immediate children of contracts and define a set of terms under which work is undertaken. For example, you may have several work types that you want to offer. For these types, you may have different agreements with different clients or jurisdictions, or you may not offer all of the work types for a specific client or jurisdiction. Statements of work are matched by the data entered on an instruction. This typically varies by the work type being requested and the jurisdiction for which this is being requested. These are called Work Type Matching Rules.
