To use reporting within Clio Operate you will need to register for Power BI. The registration process can be found here – https://powerbi.microsoft.com

Register for Power BI Pro

Clio Operate requires a Power BI Pro license to be allocated to a service account.

There are some options for how this can be setup;

• If you plan to use Power BI more widely in your organisation, have other workspaces you want to create and want to only add the account you allocate to Clio Operate to specific workspaces, then you should register for Power BI Pro using a tenant administration account.
• If this will be your only use of Power BI then you can simply register for Power BI Pro using the Clio Operate service account. This does mean that all workspaces will be created by this account and that the Clio Operate service account will have permission over all of them.

Allocate Power BI Pro License

If you have taken the option to simply register for Power BI using the account you intend to be the Clio Operate service account, then you have no further action here.

If you have registered for Power BI Pro using a tenant administrator account, then this account has a Power BI Pro license. You now need to create a Clio Operate service account and add a license to the Clio Operate service account.
