| Email Filing |
The Outlook Add-in now detects when an email has already been filed by another user before allowing a duplicate filing. When viewing an email that is already filed, the add-in displays the filing date and the name of the user who filed it. An additional check is performed at the point of clicking 'File' to handle race conditions where two users attempt to file simultaneously — if the email was filed in the intervening moment, the add-in refreshes and shows the filed status rather than creating a duplicate entry. Note: the scenario where an exchange rule auto-files outbound emails that carry a luggage tag (and were already manually filed) is addressed separately. Note: This feature has a dependency on the Duplicate Filing feature (internal reference: 132235) in Clio Operate released as part of v7.11.4. |

| Email Filing | EML files attached to emails now appear in the add-in's attachment list and can be filed to Clio Operate. The extension is now correctly recognised and EML files can be selected and filed alongside other attachments. | 14101 | 138181 |
| Email Filing | After an email has been filed, the 'File Email Content' section and the filing location fields for attachments are no longer displayed in the add-in. Previously these fields remained visible post-filing, but the displayed location could be stale if files were subsequently moved in the DMS, or incorrect if the email was filed via Clio Operate rather than through the add-in. Attachment file names remain visible. The filing location fields continue to be fully accessible and usable before an email has been filed. | 140116 | |
| File Allowlist |
This is the implementation of changes in the Outlook Add-in in order for it to be able to use the new File Allowlist functionality in Operate. NOTE: The functionality requires a version of Operate with the feature present (currently planned for 7.12) |

Issues
| Product Area | Summary | Zendesk Ref | Internal Ref |
|---|---|---|---|
| Filing Drafts | Fixed an issue that prevented draft emails from being successfully filed. The add-in would momentarily show 'Filed' before reverting to 'File', leaving the email visible in Chronology and Outbound Emails but absent from Documents. Two distinct issues were resolved: the 'File' button becoming erroneously disabled when an email subject was typed after a work item had already been selected, and an error that caused filing to fail entirely when the draft email had attachments. | 14101 | 139807 |
| Allowlist | Fixed an issue where the 'no supported attachments' message in the add-in incorrectly referenced the allowlist feature when the connected Clio Operate environment does not have the allowlist capability deployed. The message now correctly displays 'This email has no supported attachments.' for environments without allowlist support, and continues to show the full allowlist-referencing message where the capability is present. | 139830 | |
| Refiling | Fixed an issue where, when a previously filed email is re-filed to a different location and then re-selected in Outlook, the add-in displayed a blank view instead of showing the updated email details. |
