Navigate to Modeller > Global features > Finance > Fee Structures.
This feature holds the site-wide settings, and it is also the master switch. Fees cannot be configured on any work type until it is enabled here.
It also lists the work types, so the per work type settings can be reached from here as well as from the work type itself. See Work type settings.

| Approval model |
The approval model used where a work type does not override it. The Fee Structures global feature is not valid without an approval model. Set it before going near work types, even where no work type overrides it. |
| Allow users to enter check in details when submitting | Whether moving a commercial model through its phases requires a check-in. |
| Change reason - should a change reason be entered | Whether a check-in requires a change reason. See Option Sets below to configure the change reasons. |
| Notes - should additional notes be entered | Whether a check-in requires notes. |
| Show zero value fee actuals |
Whether fee actuals with a zero value are displayed. This setting controls visibility. It does not change the rule that a fee actual can never hold a zero amount. |
