ShareDo does not physically store documents in ShareDo.
When you create, upload or store a document in ShareDo it is saved into your document management system (DMS), e.g. SharePoint or iManage.
ShareDo provides a live view of the documents stored in your document management system.
How Do I Upload Or View A Document?
There are many places in the application where you can upload documents. Here are some common examples.
Work Item Portal Document View
Where your work item has a portal view, there is a document view on the left-hand navigation. This opens a full-screen view of the document repository associated with your piece of work.
Here you can view existing documents and add documents.
Drag and drop documents into any of the folders, or click the upload icon at the far right of the Menubar to open an upload screen.
Document navigation on work item blade
If you are viewing a smaller work item or the blade view of a work item, there is usually a ‘document management’ navigation bar. This provides a view into the matter repository, where you can view or add documents.
Chronology
Using the chronology view on a work item can be a really useful way to find or view documents. This view is usually available on the bigger portal view of a work item and can be accessed by the left-hand navigation.
You can filter and sort data.
For example, you can use the date filter to filter events that have happened within a certain timeframe. You can also use ctrl + f to use your browser's find capability to search for a document title.
