The Date Calculations tool is an extremely useful tool that allows you to calculate a date either as an offset of an existing date or from the current date and time.
Common Use of the Date Calculations Tool
We often capture key dates within ShareDo and we frequently want activities to happen based on an offset of that key date. For example, my trial date may be 01/05/2025 and I may want to prepare my trial brief 20 days before that.
You can use the date calculation tool to calculate the due date of your prepare document task.
You can also use the calculated date fields to work out a key date that may be related to another. For example, if my completion date on my house is 01/05/2025, then my tax is due 14 days later.
