Portal Widgets: Available Widgets

This article describes the application's list of available portal widgets and provides more in-depth guides for configuring them. 

Widgets can be configured to be expanded or collapsed by default using the Expanded toggle in the widget settings.

The Case Explorer widget displays a list of related cases and the case network

 

The Case Key Facts widget renders a list of the key fact attributes for a case.

 

The Case Team widget displays your team members and their related key statistics.

 

The Calendar View widget lets you show a calendar view containing tasks on the work type portal.

 

The Chronology widget allows you to show the chronology of a case in a widget which can be configured to show the level of detail required.

 

The Comments widget is used to capture and display comments on a work type.

 

The Data Quality widget displays the data quality rules for a case

 

The Document Expectations widget allows you to attach documents for your case directly through the portal without having to open each individual expectation work item. This is particularly useful if your workflow is dependant on receiving multiple documents.

 

The Drafting Plan v2 widget displays a list of documents that are being drafted for a case

 

The Form Builder widget allows you to add a custom form onto your portal which the user is able to view and edit

 

The iframe widget allows you to place an iframe into your portal. This could be a link to something like a youtube video

 

The Image Placeholder widget allows you to display an image on your portal which can be optionally used as a clickable link to a related webpage.

 

The Information Message widget is used to display some information you want the user to be aware of when opening the portal

 

The Key Dates List v2 widget displays a list of key dates for a case

 

Highly flexible Data Display widget that allows you to use data composer to display data associated with your work in the format you wish. This includes the use of relating sections if required. 

This widget can be placed on a portal multiple times showing different data.

 

The List view widget displays a configured defined list view

 

The Matter Radar widget displays a visual snapshot of a cases current state

(pre 7.10, uses Report View widget from 7.10)

 

The Participant Summary widget gives you quick and easy visibility of key participants on the case. Use the filtering functionality to display different groupings of participants in different widgets. For example you may wish to show you internal participants separately to external stakeholder, or highlight the client.

This widget can be configured to display as a list or in a card view. The card view gives a bigger view for each participant. The widget can be set to display in card view up until a certain number of participants is reached.

 

The Phase Plan widget displays a configurable plan view of the work type phases and optionally any sub work types

 

The Plan View widget renders a plan view, allowing planning of expected start and duration of your case and work items. This is a really great widget to include in your portal radar.

 

The Prepare Document Browser widget (Sharedo.Core.Case.Documents.Templates.PrepareDocumentBrowser.Widget) lets you add a list view to a portal page where users can browse the document templates on the system by category, preview them, and prepare documents based on the selected template. This is especially useful for environments that have very many templates.

 

 

The Property Titles widget displays the property and title details for the case

 

The Radar - List View Count Metric widget renders a configurable count from a list view scope in a radar

 

The Related Documents widget displays documents related to your case

 

The Report widget renders a highly configurable Power BI report.

The Report View widget displays a ShareDo Report, PowerBI Report or a Dashboard.  

Radars use the Report View widget to display ShareDo Reports.

You can use the Standard left nav widget to have a consistent left navigation menu throughout the application. You can set up the left nav on all your portals to reflect what it would be at the root level - making it look like one page and no hierarchy for contract/SOW/matter/proceeding etc. To do so, select the Workbench root portal as the context.

 

The Scorecard profile widget can be used to show the values captured in your work risk assessment. Scorecards can be used to capture complexity or risk on a piece of work.

 

The Task Groups widget displays a task list categorised by groups

 

The Time Entry Radar widget tracks time spent on your case by person

 

The Title Bar widget renders a title ribbon bar with an icon, title and subtitle

 

The Wiki widget provides display and management of a Wiki on a piece of work. You are able to configure pre-defined sections or allow users to add in their own sections. Users are able to populate the wiki with text, pictures and tables.

 

The Work Item Portal Ribbon widget provides a ribbon containing the contextual menu/toolkit for the work item

 

The Work Type - Lifecycle widget displays the lifecycle duration of the work type from its creation in days, months or hours

 

The Work Type - Multiple List View Count Aggregator widget enables the display of multiple list view counts in a single widget

 

The Work Types - Grouped by Tags widget displays a task list categorised by tag groups
