Automatic Delegation of Tasks

The automatic task delegation feature allows users to indicate in their profile who their tasks should be delegated to while they are absent from the office. The availability feature allows the status of a user to be set to out of office. When out of office is set, if a task is assigned to the absent user during the out of office time period, the task will be delegated to the defined user (although task ownership will remain with the absent user).

Feature Element Description
Restrict automatic task delegation functionality to the following teams Restrict access to this functionality to only the specified teams. If no teams are specified then this functionality is available to all users.
Availability Configuration List of availability statuses that trigger automatic task delegation to be active
Fall back user or team

Specify the user of team that should be used as a fall back in the case of auto task delegation not completing. This may happen if the user specified does not have the security privileges to access a specific piece of work.
