Create service portfolio buttons from the sharedo Modeller.

1. Select Launchpad > Modeller > Service Portofolios. Double-click a portfolio to edit it.
2. Select the button type you wish to add from the Service Portfolio Designer icons.
   There are four different types of actions that the services portfolio buttons perform.

   Button Type	Description
   Menu Node	Provides a hierarchical structure to the service portfolio to help guide you to the right end choice.
   Instruction Entry	Opens up an instruction work-type, this captures initial information about a piece of work and can then be converted into another work-type (for example Quote > Sale, Legal Instruction > Legal Matter).
   Task Entry	Click to create a specified task.
   Work Type Entry	Click to open the data entry form for a specific work-type.

3. Enter a Name, Description and Icon for your button and click Enabled to activate it.
4. For an instruction entry
   • Enter the work-type and resulting matter types you want created after someone clicks the button.
     Delete

     If you select an instruction but the work type does not appear in your list, make sure you have granted create permissions for your work type, and linked the instruction to your work type using a 'linked case' relationship. Then, refresh your Modeller cache.

5. For a work-type entry
   • Enter the work-type and sub type you wish to create after someone clicks the button.
6. Click Save.

Review

You have now successfully created a service portfolio button. Use the preview button to see how your portfolio looks. Make sure your users have permission to the portfolio (in the permission set).
